We’re in growth-mode and looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Product Development team in Seattle.
You’ll use the latest technologies to build the next version of the world’s first – and only – fully database-driven, multi-browser, multi-platform enterprise content creation platform. (With the ability to reuse chunks of content, componentize them, and output to multiple target formats, Author-it isn’t your everyday web CMS.) As part of a diverse team, you’ll collaborate with fellow software developers, SDETs/QA engineers, UX Designers, and program/product managers throughout the organization.
Although Author-it has been well-established in the technical communication space since 1996, our new Product Development office in Seattle is in startup mode. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated success in producing commercial software products in Agile environments.

What you’ll do
- Collaborate with program managers, architects, and other developers across Author-it’s engineering offices in Seattle, New Zealand, and the Netherlands.
- Implement new functionality and enhancements to existing Author-it solutions.
- Diagnose and solve application issues.
- Partner with QA team to provide high quality product and services.
