Your job as Media Streaming Designer
KPN has in excess of 2 million customers who enjoy watching TV channels and on-demand media on their TV, PC or mobile devices live and undisturbed. Every one just loves it when their iTV online and Play simply works and that TV programmes can be watched, wherever and whenever they choose.
As part of a DevOps team and our specialist in the field of internet streaming with software development experience, your activities will focus on innovation (such as 4K Ultra HD-TV) and maintenance projects. You will adopt an Agile/Scrum approach in your work.
As an experienced Media Streaming Designer you are responsible for:
- A clear vision and technology strategy for the further development and improvement of KPN’s streaming capacities.
- Development and implementation of new services and technologies in the field of internet streaming i.e. via mobile apps or Connected/Smart TVs such as Chromecast and Android TV.
- Project planning and supervising the construction and test phase by managing engineers and/or suppliers.
- Keep up with new technologies and IT standards and their practical application.
