Author-it has been an industry-leading provider of content authoring tools for more than 16 years. We launched a cloud-based subscription offering in 2011, giving our customers a choice between our existing self-hosted (on-premises) product and the new Author-it Cloud service. We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who can help manage a complex set of SaaS applications across globally distributed environments. This is the perfect role for a bright free-thinker who can work independently when necessary and troubleshoot problems without direction. As a content creation tool provider, we take the value of documentation seriously at Author-it, and the successful candidate will be someone capable of independent research.
But you’ll also be part of a broader team at Author-it, both in the Seattle office and in San Jose, California and Auckland, New Zealand. Strong collaboration and communication skills will be necessary to succeed in this role. The motivation to learn, the motivation to help define process, and the motivation to improve the overall user experience are all traits the right candidate will have.
